She learned this food at home, then kept making it until the baklava, the warbat, and the chocolate were hers. Years of phyllo, nuts, honey, and small batches in Valley Village.
You can taste that in the snap of the pastry and the pistachio on top. It isn’t only dessert. It’s the table she grew up around, packed so you can take it with you.
